Focused on people, our HR vision pays particular attention to equal pay for our employees.

Since March 2019, companies have been obligated to publish their equal pay index, as part of the Professional Future law.
This index assigns a score out of 100, on the basis of five criteria established by the government:

  • pay gap between men and women;
  • gap in annual pay increases;
  • gap in promotions;
  • pay gap for women returning from maternity leave;
  • presence of women among the highest salaries of the company

Through our commitments to equality within our company, we’ve obtained a score of 93 points out of 100, which places Valrhona among the most responsible companies in terms of employee equity.
This is the result of a policy that aims to promote the excellence and passion of our employees, rather than their gender.
